PRODUCT INFO
Even a Man was a university module piece of work in which I wanted to create something representing the queerness within the ‘Other’ alongside a spot of activism.
Taken from the 1941 film, The Wolf Man, Larry Talbot, when transformed into the Wolf Man, is beaten to death with the head of his father's silver cane.
This piece was a statement to say that a homophobic society can beat us down, but we will always rise, head held high, and be proud of who we are.
Each of the five limited editions was pulled by my hand using the master screen that was used on the original piece. Each is unique in its own way after being taken from the original screen
The screens used for this piece were wiped after these five prints were created, meaning no others will be made available in the future once sold out.
